Blog Energy Pool Appoints Christophe Nebon as Chief Executive Officer
Olivier Baud, founder and Chairman of Energy Pool since 2009, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christophe Nebon as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the company's Executive Board.
As the head of the company, Christophe Nebon will be responsible for steering Energy Pool’s strategy and accelerating its growth to strengthen its ambition of becoming a leading global player in energy flexibility solutions.
Meanwhile, Olivier Baud will continue to play a key role in the company’s governance as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the Strategic Committee, thereby ensuring the continuity of Energy Pool’s founding vision and mission: to deliver reliable, affordable, and low-carbon energy.
An experienced leader dedicated to the energy transition
With over 25 years of leadership experience in the fields of ecological transition, energy, and industrial services, Christophe Nebon brings to Energy Pool recognised expertise in performance, innovation, and transformation.Before joining Energy Pool in November 2024, he spent 17 years at Veolia, where he held several strategic leadership roles, including Group Technical & Performance Director and member of the Executive Committee. In these roles, he led ambitious international programmes focused on efficiency, innovation, and transformation.
Earlier in his career, Christophe Nebon also held responsibilities in the public sector, serving as Technical Adviser at the Ministry of Ecology and Investment Officer at the French State Shareholding Agency (Agence des participations de l’État).
